More to make than ever. Less time than ever. Most studios answer that by moving faster and checking less. We work the other way — calm, considered, structured, and somehow still on time.

By the time you think to ask, we have usually already handled it. The detail that would have derailed day three, caught quietly on day one, while you were busy thinking about something more important.

S.2 — The studio

A design-driven motion studio crafting cinematic, refined visual systems.

Our work blends precision, clarity and atmosphere — distilling every project to its essential form while elevating it through intentional movement and advanced 3D craft. With a point of view shaped by years of hands-on production, we create motion that feels composed, resonant and unmistakably current, setting a visual standard that defines how brands move.

CRUX4D operates from Oslo as a Norwegian AS, founded in 2018 by Mads (Min) Haaning Htoon. The studio works across CGI and 3D, video production, brand design, packaging and consulting — for clients in fashion, cosmetics, jewellery, industrial design and interior architecture.

S.3 — How we work

Principles

  1. Aesthetic excellence is the floor

    Beautiful is the minimum, not the achievement. Every frame has to also do a job — shift a perception, answer an objection, earn a click.

  2. Build the system, not the asset

    We deliver lighting logic, shaders and kinetic principles alongside the films, so what we make stays consistent long after the project closes.

  3. Physical before digital

    Material behaviour is measured, not approximated. Metal grain, cloth tension and light refraction are researched before a single frame renders.

  4. Sustainable by construction

    A CGI production has no flights, no sets struck and no waste. Assets are archived and reused across seasons rather than reshot — lower footprint, lower cost, better continuity.
